New Here?

Come as you are . . .

When you walk through our doors you will see all types of people.

You may see people in suits and ties, you may see people in jeans and a t-shirt.

It does not matter what you wear to church, as long as you come.

We want you to know that as soon as you walk through our doors you are welcomed and loved for who you are.

What to expect before Worship

  • A warm handshake, greetings from our ushers, and friendly smiles from our members.

What to expect during Worship

  • Our service begins with the ringing of our historic steeple bell at 9:00 a.m. followed by a greeting and a few announcements from Reverend Brooks.
  • All children attend our service with their parents for the first 15 minutes. Then after the "Children's Time", 2nd to 8th graders are escorted to their Sunday School rooms. We encourage our youth (9th to 12th grades) to remain and participate in the service with their parents.
  • Little ones are always welcome in worship. Activities and materials are available for toddlers to use in church.
  • Our service follows a traditional format.
  • Communion is always offered during the service on the first Sunday of each month. All are welcome to partake of the sacrament.
  • We believe that the support of our church is the responsibility of our congregants. Offerings are not expected from visitors. We welcome visitors into our sanctuary as we would welcome them as guests in our homes.
  • A second offering is collected by the Deacons on the first Sunday of each month to support their missions and outreach programs.

What to expect after Worship

  • After the Sunday Worship Service, we join together in Fuller Hall to share conversation and refreshments.

What to Wear

  • "California casual" — you will find everything from jeans and t-shirts to suits.

Accessibility

  • Ramps and handrails allow for easy access to our Sanctuary, Fuller Hall, Education building, office, and restrooms.

Parking

  • We have three parking areas:
    1) parking spaces next to the sanctuary
    2) parking spaces at the rear of our campus on Marshall Road
    3) parking is available in the CB&T Bank parking lot across Marshall Road
