Welcome Rev. Kyle Brooks — September 2024!

Our church enthusiastically welcomed our new pastor - The Reverened Kyle E. Brooks - on Sunday, September 1st, 2024. He delivered an inspiring sermon, and afterwards joined the congregation in Fuller Hall for cake and coffee and tea. We are fortunate to have him join our congregation!

The Reverend Calloway — September 2022 to August 2024!

The Reverened Jamall A. Callowy started with us on Sunday, September 18th, 2022, and for two wonderful years he delivered wonderful sermons! After his first sermon, he and his wife joined the congregation in Fuller Hall for cake and coffee and tea. The goodies were prepared by a team headed by our own Peggy Barnum. A great time was had by all!

Puzzles for Peace — September 2020

Our church held a gigantic "gently used" Jigsaw Puzzle Sale on September 26, 2020. There were 8 tables, each with about 30 puzzles per table, and social distancing was maintained between the tables. We sold 102 puzzles for $510! ALL PROCEEDS were donated to the Equal Justice Initiative, a nonprofit organization providing legal representation to people who have been illegally convicted, unfairly sentenced or abused in state jails and prisons. Everyone wore masks and a great time was had by all who attended. Thank you everyone!

Our 125th Anniversary Celebration — August 17, 2019

The Alpine Community Church celebrated its 125th Birthday on August 17th, 2019! We invited the entire community to a FREE carnival held at our Church. FREE FOOD: hot dogs, chips, sodas, popcorn, cotton candy, and snow-cones! There was a Bounce House and a Dunk Tank! There was a Cakewalk and 12 FREE cakes were won. There were many Games for the children with FREE prizes given to all players. Both children and adults lined up for Face Painting and for the Painting Wheel. Our Sanctuary was open to all, with presentations on our history offered throughout the day. Thrivent offered FREE IDs for each child. The Alpine Firefighters with their fire truck joined us along with the Volunteer Sheriff and patrol car. Our Guild members baked tasty cookies, candies and cakes for the Bake Sale. The Silent Auction and Opportunity Baskets were put together with items donated from local businesses.  Entertainment was provided by our very talented Music Director. We had a great time, and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Alpine July 4th Parade — July 2018

Members of our congregation took to their wheels and had a ball, rolling down Alpine Boulevard in the Alpine 4th of July Parade. Afterwards we staffed the ice cream booth at the July 4th Carnival. Hope to see you next year!

Halloween Party — October 2016

A fun, fun, fun time was had by all —children, teens, and even adults!
